The contact owns a 2008 Acura Mdx. The contact noticed that the front passenger side tire was sticking out at a 90 degree angle. Upon further inspection, he noticed that the passenger steering linkage failed. The dealer speculated that the failure resulted from a crash without even properly inspecting the vehicle. The dealer further stated that they would not assume financial responsibility for any repairs. As of January 27, 2009, there are no known crashes with this vehicle. The contact called the manufacturer and is waiting for a response. The failure and current mileages were 14,000.
