1999 Acura 3. 2tl. Air control pressure causing accident the consumer was involved in a rollover accident. The accident was caused by the sudden loss of air pressure in the right front tire. It happened in a lane of travel with no warning. The consumer had the tires put on the vehicle on March 31, 2008. The consumer stated the valve stems were defective and there was a silent recall and he wanted to know why the public was not informed of the recall. The contact owns a 2006 Acura Tl. After the vehicle was purchased, the tire pressure began to fail. The warning light illuminated and the vehicle was returned to the dealer a few days later. The dealer checked the tire pressure and added more air to the tires. The contact went home only to return to the dealer with the same failure. The dealer changed the valve stem, but that did not correct the failure. After several attempts to repair the vehicle, the dealer could not locate the cause of the failure.
