One problem related to other fuel system tank assembly has been reported for the 2007 BMW 335. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This is my third BMW. In all cases, the fuel sending units develop hairline fractures that cause fuel to leak; in my previous two cars this problem developed at around 75,000-80,000 miles. In the present car, the propulsion pump near the fuel tank also developed a hairline fracture. The substandard quality of these parts cause an unsafe condition whereby fuel leaks can cause a fire.
