Two problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 2006 BMW 3 Series. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have an 06 BMW 330i with the sport seats. The passenger seat occupancy detector has been causing the srs light to come on. I did some research and found that my vehicle has the same type of seat mat that was recalled, however BMW says that the recall is VIN specific and my car is not covered even though I have the same type of seat mat that was recalled.
I was told by BMW that even thought my passenger airgbag has been defective for the last two months, I need to wait till September to get it fixed.
