Other Fuel System Problems of BMW 750

My car keeps shutting off completely in the middle of driving on highway or any road it’s becoming a safety risk this car once had an open recall for the same issue but I didn’t receive memo but according to BMW handbook emissions recall don’t expire for NJ registered vehicles but BMW won’t honor it.

The transmission is very dangerous, when pressing on the accelerator it will rev the engine high, then jump into gear and lunge forward. If stopped at a light, it would definitely kill someone, and when stopping the vehicle, it feels like you are getting rear-ended. On this date, the transmission launching the vehicle forward almost caused a case of whiplash.

My electric auxillary water pump is bad and heats up my circuit board. . . . Also the timing bolts on the camshaft are bad.

My vehicle has this white smoke coming out of the exhaust after it sits for like a few minutes. Smoke does not come out when I'm driving only when I sit. So if I'm at a red light long enough it will smoke. This just start happening out of nowhere and after looking it up everybody who has these cars almost have the same issue.

Just had a new factory engine put in my 2010 BMW 750li under a class action lawsuit, in August 2019. December 2019 wife was driving car to grocery store and engine suddenly started bucking and smell of gas was overwhelming. She was in traffic at the time and could not maintain proper speed on the 50mph highway and lost total power. She nursed car into a nearby parking lot. It was snowing out and had to wait for a tow truck for an hour in freezing temperatures. Aside from the overwhelming fuel smell, almost caused accident by not being able to maintain proper speed, she was waiting in freezing temperatures for tow truck. This, I found out, is a very big problem with these cars. Its was a fuel injector that caused the issue. This is truely a safety hazard for the public. And an extremely expensive fix. BMW has many complaints about the fuel injectors, but seem to ignore the issue and profit heavily from the customers loss. Please do something about this issue.

It keeps saying the oil is too low even after driving for only one week. This is a constant issue.

I was driving up I-5 , in the third lane when all of a sudden I got a drivetrain malfunction message on my screen I noticed that all acceleration was lost and knew I must pull out of the road for at the speed allowed I was bound to get rear ended on a busy highway like this car in back of me began to honk as I signaled to be allowed move out the road cars proceeded to just go fast and almost got hit a couple times .

In the despite of the n63 ccp performed by the car the defective injectors were not changed as they should have been. They should have been replaced with index 12 and they are still index 9. Today BMW do not wants to change them and asking for $5000. I think it should be part of the original n63ccp.

BMW 2013 750li drivetrain malfunction re-occurring causing rough start and while driving highway 485 vanos solenoids & valve covers have been replaced three times within 7 months on my vehicle that has 22,000 miles. My full service warranty is going to expire at the end of 2016. According to recent reports BMW is aware of this issue on the n63 engine and should have a recall on various parts. The bolts that secure the housing for the variable camshaft timing adjustment (vanos) unit can loosen over time and may possibly break. The engine may have reduced power or stall. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash. Having the service bulletin number b001314, the recall may take several days for each vehicle involved and could include replacement of the fuel injectors, mass airflow sensors, battery, crankcase vent lines, fuel pressure sensor, the engine¿s vacuum pump and last, but certainly not least, replacement of the timing chain. . BMW in some cases will offer an extended full service warranty.

While driving on the highway at a speed of about 65 mph my car suddenly lost power. A "drive train malfunction" warning appeared on the dash indicating that I had reduced power. BMW should not wait until the injectors fail to correct the situation. Or wait until there are a couple of fatalities to call this what it is . . A safety hazard!! as I checked online forums, many BMW owners are experiencing this issue. BMW is also telling me that the throttle assembley and sensors need to be replaced at my cost due to the fact that this could also cause a shut down/and or reduction of power to the vehicle while driving.

At 57,000 miles, my 2010 BMW 750li needed 6 out of 8 fuel injectors replaced. The fuel injectors for the n63 engine platform have been redesigned multiple times due to a high rate of part failure. The parts were poorly designed, and are failing prematurely on vehicles. BMW refuses to acknowledge the faulty fuel injectors and should properly issue a recall.

This car experiences multiple drivetrain malfunction codes, looses power at intervals when driving, leaks oil from seals which creates white smoke from both the exhaust pipes and from underneath the hood. It also has a rough idle and every so often, the check engine light comes on. BMW should be ashamed of themselves for having these ongoing problems with their cars in this day and age.

Fuel injectors need to be replaced and the vehicle has only 47,880 miles. I believe this is a factory problem and the dealer wants $5100 to replace the injectors.

The fuel injectors were defective and needed to be replaced. BMW would not sell the exact injectors because the unit was redesigned because the version that came with the car had excessive failures. After I had the car repaired BMW would not reimburse me for repairs seeing that I did not have the car repaired by them.

Near miss a couple times. . . . . . . . . . Whenever sitting still for a period of time then go to take off there is a big bluish gray smoke cloud. At the same time the car will take off then do a jerky stop and go again. I've almost been rear ended many of times. If sitting somewhere for longer then 2-3 minutes the car is surrounded by this smoke. Its a known issue with BMW. To me this is a safety issue along with environmental and health issue.
