One problem related to occupant classification system - ocs (front passenger) has been reported for the 2011 BMW X5. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The passenger seat weight occupancy sensor intermittently works. I am concerned if it is not working properly, the airbag may not deploy properly. Also, the seat belt warning light chimes even though the seat is not occupied.
