The problem started with the trunk popping when the vehicle was placed in reverse. Today my vehicle failed to pass inspection because the back up lights are not operating. The lights and fuses were checked and all operating correctly. Believe it is an electrical problem.

2 Trunk Wiring problem of the 1999 Buick Century

Failure Date: 06/01/2003

Child door electric lock rock switch broke retainer clips. Unable to lock out rear doors. High beam switch clicker broken. Not able to keep high beams on without holding flash lever up. Body to trunk lid tail light wiring harness broken wire.
