The contact owns a 2012 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that both front seat head restraints obstructed the view of the road for both the driver and front passenger. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer stated that the head restraints obstructed the view of the road. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 350 and the current mileage was 1,000.
Both driver and front passenger seat trim is cracking and falling apart. We purchased extended warranty but it will not cover the front seat trim because ithey wont. They agree that it's not a wear item like oil, gas, brakes, or wipers but still won't replace them. The odd part is that the passenger side is worse than the driver's side but it is usually empty Monday-Friday. If both of our seat trim are demolished and we give it normal wear, we can't the only ones out there with this ridiculous problem. They just started falling apart about a year ago. I put a date because it was required for submitting this form but it was more of a progressive breaking apart.
