The airbag light would intermittently go on and off as a result of loose crimps in the driver and passenger seat mounted side impact airbag (siab) wiring-harness connectors. This appears to be the same problem in gm recall number n14030 (gfpe) number n-140030 NHTSA recall 14v118. I made a complaint to gm under case number 9-9401539892. Gm refused to fix the problem because my Enclave is a 2014 model and not a 2013 model. I was forced to spend $318. 27 with marc miller buck GMC 4700 south memorial tulsa, ok 74145 918. 663. 4700 on February 10, 2023. The repair ticket from the GMC dealer provides: "customer states the air bag light is coming on at times. Electrical test high resistance in r & l seats connectors need to solder terminals at connectors. Contact gm thru policy evaluation tool, gm offers no participation at this time. Customer case 9-9401539892. Charge: $318. 27" invoice attached.

Passenger restraint system failed, cost $600 repaired, with only 56,500 miles, it gave a code of b0022, and a service bulletin dtc b0022, safety issue with this code b0022 the seatbelt and air bags will not work in event of a collision, yes by a independent service center, serviced air bags messages and red seatbelt with air bag light on. This should me a recall die to gm knows that their is a defect.

In 2017 the timing belt failed with less than 100,000 miles on the vehicle. Timing belt replacement was over 2000 dollars. 2018 the check engine light came on india sting an issue with the caytalic converter. Have not repaired but vehicle will dye while driving. It quit working on interstate and I had to coast across five lanes to shoulder, where I was able to restart vehicle. This also happened on 2 lane highway. 2020 airbag light came on, stayed on for a few days and went out. Hit bump in road airbag light returns.

It keeps happening. The service airbag light comes on several times during the year. No service code to repair!!! to fix we keep disconnecting the battery and reconnecting why is this a recall on some models and not on others.

I brought the vehicle into the dealership for a diagnostic test & the issue is the wiring harness for the passenger side airbag. When the technician moves the wiring harness the light comes & goes. Additionally, I found service bulletins talking about the same problem for various gm products.

Hello I have a problem with the air bag of a Buick Enclave 2012 manufactured by gm. And they say that my car has no problem of that type and I saw that car that year has a problem with the air bag. The car does not have to turn on the service air bag light but has had no crash or any change or repair in that part the car, gm's carla representative says that I am responsible for paying all the repair for a gm problem. They sent a diler to see that problem and when he arrived they told me that nobody had notified him of my car and that they checked it but I had to pay,.

The service air bag light came on. I took it to independent auto service shop then the dealership, neither could find anything wrong with them. I was told to keep moving my driver side seat up and back every so often. . . That might get it to go off. Seriously, that is what dealership told me. So, during oil change I asked auto shop to take a look at service air bag issue. They said no computer code came up, so I need to take it to the dealership. Now I'm left with a car that might kill me in a crash, and my best bet to survive crash is to �trick� sensor by moving my driver seat � back and forth every so often!�.

Possible electrical short? fuel gauge dropped over an eighth of a tank when just filled it up and drove 2 miles home. Next time I started it up it displayed the aforementioned. Has done this a few times now. Also service airbag light has come on intermittently prior to fuel gauge issue and now is on every time. Called Buick and they acknowledge that it has been a problem for that model and even year just not my VIN. Perhaps expansion of vehicles affected??? 77,000 miles.

Takata recall?? my service air bag light came on, but no recall is issued for my VIN. The vehicle was parked overnight then the next morning when I started it the air bag light is on. No accidents. I had the sensors check and a scan done on he car with no indications.

2008 Buick Enclave (recall# 14030)-failure of the passenger side impact air bags intermittently not working. Researched and discovered that general motors llc (gm) is recalling certain model year 2008-2013 Buick Enclave. The air bag indicator remains illuminated intermittently off and on while driving with a passenger in the drivers seat. The airbag sensor will not register any if the person in the passenger seat is not of a certain weight. This is really a dangerous situation given that my teenagers ride in the front passenger seat most times. Please have someone contact me immediately to get this resolved. This recall is identical to my 2008 Buick but yet not showing for my VIN.

The dealer wants $145 for diagnostics and gm will not cover under previous recall unless we prove there was a defect with the previous recall parts. Of course gm will not disclose what the previous recall parts were .

On October 12, 2017 (vehicle had under 100k miles) I was driving my Buick Enclave with a passenger in the passenger seat and my son in the back captain's chair and my airbag light went on along with my service airbag on my dashboard. The vehicle was not driven in any unusual fashion as my vehicle is used for highway and city use. When I noticed the indicator(s) on the dash I was driving on a two lane blacktop highway at approximately 65 mph in partly sunny colorado/nice conditions. I was not going to repair what was diagnosed as faulty airbags as the quoted price was close to $2000. 00. Once I thought more about my decision, discovering that no airbags my trigger in an accident and that I commonly transport my family and friends in my vehicle, I decided it was best to repair the airbags for safety reasons. I have attached the cost/receipt for this repair that took place on 12/20/2017: $2032. 86 (minus an oil change for $44. 92) = $1987. 92. The reason for my complaint/issue is due to the cost to repair what I consider a manufacturers safety recall issue. While I do not find any recalls on-line or with gm, I consider this a safety issue with the manufacturer that should stand behind their work product for the safety of their customers. My vehicle is in mint condition with service records documenting my care and up-keep including maintenance and repair work recently at right automotive in parker colorado. My service air bag light came on for no apparent reason, after my friend and I re-entered the vehicle while on a day outing. I believe it to be for the passenger seat, because the passenger air bag dash light will not illuminate to on when a passenger is seated in it. Worried that it may be for the whole air bag system. When I called my dealership after reading about the recall, there response was unfortunately your car is not covered. I don't understand why? they said the same thing when the power steering pump went out on it & I paid separate for a diagnostics,which they sent me down the road, which is 125 miles one way from the dealership. Only to return a week later and have is replaced.
