This recall was issued may 2023 and remedy is still not available more than a year later. This is unacceptable as this recall could be life threatening in event the air bag were to deploy.

I was notified via usps mail by gm 06/2023 regarding a recall (n232404980 / 23v334) & parts not being currently available. I received a follow-up usps mail by gm 03/2024 regarding the same recall & parts now being available. I followed up with my Buick dealer 05. 24. 2024 to request a service appointment. I was told the parts were not available & the only way for my vehicle to get fixed was by setting up a "placeholder" appointment to get the parts ordered. This "placeholder" was scheduled for 10. 31. 2024. I hadn't heard anything & reached back out to the dealer on 08. 09. 24 & was told the part is still not available & still on order. My vehicle is an older model Buick Enclave (2015) & this is safety recall that can't be completed 1 & 1/2 years after notification (6 months after telling me the parts were available). This is getting ridiculous to have to wait to have a safety recall, especially as the issues are more prevalent in older models. And this is also hindering my ability to trade in/resell my vehicle since it's an open recall.

1st incident was 6/29/24 my driver seat airbag deployed. 2nd incident happened 8/3/24 when the airbag on the driver side deployed the whole side from the front to the back of the trunk.

This has been under a recall for more than a year, and yet there is no remedy time in the near future. Calls to gm simply state that they do not know when they will be able to repair the vehicle. It seems that if gm is continuing to produce cars with airbags that they could at least replace those that are under the recall, rather than inserting them into new cars. Instead, they choose to profit with the new vehicles and leave those impacted by the recall driving in potentially dangerous, if not fatal, vehicles.

It's been over a year since the recall was issued and still no fix? this has affected my ability to sell the vehicle.

Gm (Buick) issued this recall over a year ago in spite of numerous phone calls, e-mails, there is no remedy in sight and I have to wonder if gm intends to follow through with a remedy for this issue or just ignore it and run out the clock with no fear of any repercussions for them. Do fed regulations really have any teeth in them to provide incentive for gm to care about their customers. The dealers are caught in the middle and at the mercy of gm. I'm sure this is an industry problem and gets very little media attention. I guess it's a case of ignore it and it will go away.

I have been getting to many issues lately with my car, I have a family and two little ones we almost got accident today 06/20/2024 the car just suddenly stopped while I’m driving on the highway out of no where (traction control on) airbags issues and to many like every once in a while.
