My car shifts itself into what seems to be a 'neutral' state and then revs up very loud. It also slams on its own brakes, thankfully each time has been at low speed. Today was the last straw. I am never getting in to that car again! as I was leaving a parking lot, my car slammed on its brakes, all kinds of rolling sounds under my feet. Then it stopped and hit hard to start going again. Lights on my dashboard going crazy. . . The guy who was backing up as I was going by, honked and yelled at me because he didn't know why I would stop like that. I should have been well past him, but my car decided we were stopping. So a little shaken and upset, but I carried on. This car has been doing that since 4000 miles. It is very stressful to get in that car as it is. I sat at the very next red light at the parking lot I had just left to turn left onto a majorly busy street. The light was red, when it turned green, I applied the gas after a and it surged so hard, it was as if I floored it all the way, but the pedal had not moved under my feet, but I could feel all kinds of 'action' happening under my feet. As the car went over the crosswalk paint, it screeched the tires and I almost hit the guy who was also making a left next to me as my car was thrusting forward with great speed and spinning tires, when the wheels caught the pavement I almost hit the guy next to me in his back door. I was honked at and scared. I waived my hands to try to say ' I don't know!' I didn't know what to do. The man followed me almost a mile to my work and when I got out of my car he called me every name you can think of. This car is really scaring me and I cannot drive it anymore. I am going to try to work with GMC to take it back. I shouldn't have to be terrified to go to the grocery store. This car has done similar things over the last two years but it has only gotten worse. Dealer "can't duplicate".

We purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave for what we thought was a great deal. We were prepared to pay for basic maintenance right after purchase. The check engine light came on as we were driving on the highway. I noticed loss of power while on cruise control(set at 65mph) and the vehicle started shaking. I noticed the rpm jumping from 1 to 2 . We took the vehicle to Buick for repairs. We had a tune up, 2 catalytic converters replaced, 3 O2 sensors replaced along with one other one that I'm not sure the name, oil change, struts and shocks, rear sway bar links, air filter, and a gasket manifold. We have not had this vehicle longer than 2 months. The vehicle is still doing the same thing. Today after we picked it up from the shop(no check engine light) we drove it on the highway and now the service traction control light is on along with stabilitrak control. We have 6 children. This is dangerous. What are we to do?.

Transmission-push on gas but wouldn't move, just revved up, was parked and tried to leave and vehicle wouldn't go in reverse so ended up having it towed and transmission replaced. Less than 75,000 mile on it. Power steering pump-would go to turn wheel and would take both hands to turn it because it was that tight. Motor mount for stabilitrak needed replaced. Would be driving down road and it would be wobbly and light would come on that stabilitrak/traction control needed fixed. Have vehicle about 6 months and put less than 1,000 miles on it. Only had 74,000 when I got it. Regret purchase and now feel unsafe in my own car.

While driving my 2015 Enclave the vehicle jerks and the engine light comes on. Then starts rattling and steering wheel locks and my speed reduces to 40, 25 then 10-5 miles per hour, the warnings read engine power reduced, traction control off, service stabillitrak. I pull my car on the side of the street, wait a few minutes and sometimes turn on my car and rattles again. Need to wait a few more minutes and the starts, the engine light stays on for a few minutes, maybe couple hours or for a day and then clears up. I took it to my mechanic and no codes came up. My mechanic suggested to do a full service on my car which I did and still happening. This has happened several times, while I'm on highway or city streets. . Very, very dangerous. The video and pictures provided are from March/02/20, but I have this problem since fall last year( is when I first took it to my mechanic and performed a full service, picture provided) and last time happened to me was June/15/2020.

I was driving in town at about 25 miles an hour when my vehicle shut off the traction control and my vehicle wouldn't go above 15 mph. Dash said service traction control.

11 months after I bought my Buick the engine went out the dealer said it was nothing to do with me the replacement used all my warranty. And there has been one after another problem. My steering wheel locks during turns almost had some real serious finder benders. It's throwing p420 code for bank 2 and now have no sound at all everything works but no blinkers, hazard, seatbelt, backup warning sounds at all with no radio .

Car loses speed from 70 downto10 on exspressway this is a life threating problem almost got rear ended on eway no where to pull off an dark out been to dealer in novi micigan2 times car did same thing on way to florida no read out codes show on tracking I think gm should fix thts problen free of charge before some 1 gets killed.

I purchased the vehicle on 11/4/19. The dealership, salesman or service department. Didn't inform me or put it in writing that the crankshaft sensor was faulty on the vehicle. John eagle Acura didn't consider safety first. On 11/7/19 at 48,076 miles the vehicle won't crank. It was cold and rainy so I didn't drive the vehicle. On 11/17/19 I drove the vehicle to church at 48,124 miles. When I got out of church it won't crank. I called the dealership on 11/18/19 and told them about the vehicle. They told me to bring it in. I brought it in on 11/19/19 at 3p. M. I asked the service department what was the problem because the vehicle won't crank. They told me that it is the crankshaft sensor. I told the salesman that you knew it was the crankshaft sensor and you put my safety at risk. Because you and the service department and dealership knew that the crankshaft sensor was faulty and my safety was at risk. He said to me and my husband that he knew and said that he should have given me a loaner car. But he never told me about it.

While driving 60 mph on the interstate in bumper to bumper traffic, my car went into limp mode. Rpms were high and I had to pull over from the fast lane with tractor-trailers driving around me after researching the issue, it seems this has been seen in alot of cars. This is a dangerous defect that needs to be resolved. I hope no one dies to make the manufacturer resolve this issue. The mechanic said this was a known issue with this vehicle. Recommended a transmission replacement. In fact, there were two other Buick/gm cars with the same issue waiting to be worked on. The codes were p0776, p0796 and p0700.

I have had continuous problems over the last year with the stabilitrack system going off and it telling me to service stabilitrack. However, now my transmission is going out and I have a car that I owe way too much for and can't afford to get the transmission fixed. On top of the transmission my ignition only works part of the time. There is no point in replacing the ignition if the transmission is gone. I have already replaced the motor on the windshield wipers but apparently the previous owner had the motor replaced during the recall so I had to pay out of pocket for that. Not to mention spending over $200 just to get my headlight bulb replaced at a shop because its not simple enough to just take the cover off and replace the bulb. This car has been nothing but a money pit. The transmission has been acting a little strange like occasionally not wanting to shift one day and then being fine the next. The other day I was driving and it wouldn't shift, rev"d up to 4000 rpm and wouldn't go over 40 mph. I'm at the point where I can not afford to continue to pay full coverage insurance plus my car payment on a car I cannot drive.

2008 intermittently and unexpectedly shuts off while driving. No matter the speed. Sometimes 30mph on the street, sometimes 70mph on the expressway. Sometimes it starts right back up, sometimes it doesnt. No one seems to know why. Cars cost too much to be playing guess the problem!! take to dealer at $100. A visit for them to guess and ultimately not fix the problem. Because a week later the vehicle is doing the exact same thing you took it in for. I just wish someone new what the real problem was. Very disappointed in gm. This vehicle has had so many problems, but it's supposed to be low end luxury. It's dangerous and I guess people have to start dying and a class action lawsuit against gm will happen before anything is done.

The car was spitting d sputter and overheating on the main hightway. . . Engine light started flashing a d it showed misfires on cylinders 2,4,6. . . . The problem is on going and has had my 2 year old and myself sitting on the side of the road in 110 degree heat index waiting on a tow truck!. We were driving straight down the main highway. Then the accelerator would be floored but the vehicle wouldnt move at all. Thus I couldnt cross the last main highway to get home. It said service stabiltract/ traction control, with wngine light flashing. . . Still isnt fixed.

About a year ago, our 2014 Buick Enclave awd, began shuddering while driving and lagging when trying to accelerate. 4 months ago, the vehicle's check engine light came on while I was on the freeway. It also displayed the "traction control off" �stability control off" and "engine power reduced" signs on the dashboard. My vehicle went from 75 mph to 25 in a matter of seconds. . While I was on the freeway with my two children in the car! I was able to pull off to the side of the road, turn the car completely off and turn it back on again. This seemed to reboot the computer, but the check engine light remained on for several days. 4 months later, this has now happened about 16 additional times, 3 while on the freeway! we've replaced the throttle body, throttle body gasket, mass air full sensor, pvc valve and the power train module relay. We are continuing to have problems!! the most recent, this morning while taking my children to school. This on top of having to have the a/c evaporator replaced at least once/ year since we bought this vehicle brand new off the lot! I'm a little tired of putting my children's lives as well as my own in danger every time I take them and pick them up from school!.

We where driving the other day, lost all power to dash cluster. Found water in fuses under glove box on passenger side. Dried out and got power back; but not abs light is on and if it goes off we lose all brakes. The traction control and stabilitrak say service and we lost our back up camera as well.

Service side detection system . Side and rear alerts do not work. Notice comes up on dashboard every time I start the car. Happened 200 miles after warranty is over at 50,000 miles.

While driving a sensor came on for staiblitraks and no all wheel drive mode was disabled and abs came on. Car started to jerk or lunge forward numerous times, until car got up to speed. After I shut the car off and my wife & son who was in a bowling tournement, we came out and started the car and I noticed that when I put the brakes on at first there wasn't any till I started moving.

Light flash by them selves truck door lifts by it self serviceability track and traction control lights are on and now won't accelerate, and power steering pump is also a issue . When ever lights and hatch open alone the park is parked and cut off.

While driving my 2013 Buick Enclave traction control, service stabili track flashes across dasboard. The check engine light comes on and engine speed is drastically reduced. Car does not accelerate properly and rpms are not producing speed. Car is lethargic and signs begin without warning. Once engine is turned off and turned back on traction control rests and display messages disappear but check engine light remains on. Temperature or weather or type of road you are driving on does not play a factor in defect of traction control stabili track.

For the last six months I've had messages saying service stabilitrak, service traction control, engine power reduced, and then it slowed immediately which was frightening when you ate going 60 mph. My local dealership says its fuse nox which id arcing and will be almodt 600 to fix. Now my power steering pump is failing, terrible noises wgen turning and recalls have been issued to 2012s. Very tired of being afraid to drive my car.

My 2013 Buick Enclave started having problems back in December. When I was driving all of the sudden the car chimed about 3 times then all the sudden the dashboard read the following: 1. Engine power is reduced 2. Service traction control off 3. Service stabilitrak 4. The engine light comes on at the same time, the engine power started to die down and I was barely moving. It was hard to steer and all power functions greatly reduced. Once I shut it off and restarted the car my check engine light stayed on but it switched from traction control off to traction control on. Then I was able to continue driving again. I bought this vehicle thinking it was a good family car but now after dealing with this problem and seeing all the complaints online and nothing being done, no recall, I made a bad choice. My children were with me when this happend a few times and we were almost rear ended because of it. The car literally stops working. This is a very dangerous problem and is not uncommon to GMC vehicles. I do not feel safe driving this car. I don't understand why GMC has not identified the problem. I am taking it to nimnicht dealership tomorrow in jacksonville. Hopefully they have some real answers before this car ends up killing me or someone else. Very disappointed GMC after reading all the complaints and nothing being done.

The car started dying whether I'm on the highway going 65 or stopped or accelerating. . . So many different circumstances. . The car will be going along fine and all of a sudden it says traction control off, service stabilitrak system, engine power reduced and then it dies. . . It does all of this in a matter of 3 seconds then I'm left trying to steer with no power steering. This has happened probably 35 to 40 times in the few months that I have had the car. Vehicle was purchased used in 2010. First had problem while sitting still at a red light. Alarm bell rings stating stabilitrak traction contorl service, power door locks and unlock, speedometer moves out of control. When we try to drive power is slow and engine pulls hard, check engine light comes on. We took it to dealer and they kept it for a couple of days but could find nothing wrong. This happens every 3 to 4 months sometimes longer. When vehicle is turned off it seems to reset itself. This seems to be a gm problem as I have looked online and found several other vehicles all having the same problem with there never being a fix for it. I bought this vehicle July of 2017 probably about 6 months driving my radio makes a loud static noise and then no sound not even blinker sounds. I get in it later that day crank it it's fine. Then begin to have intermittent cranking issues crank it nothing everything on the dash blacks out nothing nothing happens turn the key back turn it back over it cranks that still seems to be a problem it still does that. Then a few months later my liftgate just opens by itself that has happened on several occasions I just been wake up in the morning the and the liftgate is open. One morning my husband wakes up to go to work and goes outside my car has actually remote start itself I was just sitting in the yard running like somebody remote started it but no one was up to do that. At night when I go to bed I don't lock my vehicle because I'm afraid it may be auto started the next morning when I get up and now my check engine light is on with my service traction control and service stabilitrak light the engine is giving the code for injectors 2 4 and 6. P204 202 206. These lights will randomly come on and go off and when their own the vehicle won't start bog down and try to cut off or cut off it doesn't want to stay running came to a red light three days ago those lights come on in the middle of pulling off from a red light it was green so I was pulling away car just shuts off put it put it in park crank it up drives right off.

At slow speeds the power steering goes in and out intermittently. The loss of power steering is only for a second or two but the sensation seems to be dangerous if the steering function did not return instantly. This loss of power steering is identical to the power steering loss that is the subject of a current GMC sierra truck recall.

My service stabilty track keeps coming in and off and it's like the car just wants to stop as I'm driving on a major highway. Also, my check engine light is now on and staying on and seems to be with the transmission. The car will not go over 20/25 mph and the rpms are going up really high with out the car really accelerateing. It's even worse knowing my children where in the car and it to happen out of no where. I have been in motion with both issues from fine one minute and not the next. I have a pic of what happens with the stabilty track but didn't get one with power problem due to where and when I was on road to dangerous. Service stabilty track happened 08/28/2018 and the power trans problem happened 09/01/2018 and is still a problem not able to drive vehicle. Will try a pic and upload later if possible. Was driving on hwy 20 in nebraska on both occurrences coming home from work on 08/28/2018 and headed down same hwy to go camping with my children on 09/01/2018 with power team problem that is still happening not driving vehicle now.

This car is a mess. It didn't pass the state emission test sticker. The traction control system in conjunction with the stability track control system. Are bringing up a check engine light with error code p0174 and p0171. Every time those system showed up in the instrument panel I got a follow up check engine light. I don't know what the problem is and two GMC Buick dealer have said different fix method. Very back for me. They want to fix different problems. They don't know what the real problem is. They are guessing.

I have a 2013 Buick Enclave and for the past 5-6 months, the traction control off message and engine powering down message continue to pop up and my car while driving on the highway and goes into limp mode and quickly dies. I have to let it sit for a few minutes and then it resets but the engine light remains on. I have taken it into the mechanic and most recently the dealership but they have replaced everything twice and have not been able to diagnose the problem. So far the alternator has been changed, had two engine belts replaced, ignition and relay switches changed, updated all the software with no luck and about 7k in charges.

On 3/21/18 I was pulling out of a gas station to head to work. My traction control light lit up as well as my engine light. Warnings went across my dash stating "traction control off" "service stabilitrack" "engine power reduced" I couldn't go over 40mph. I made it back to work. After work only the engine light was on. The next day I drove it and by the afternoon the engine light had gone off. This morning, 3/23/18 I drove to work without any complications. Due to weather we closed our office early. I pulled out of the parking lot and my traction control lit up as well as my engine light. All three warnings went across my dash again and this time I could not go above 20mph. I made it home with my flashers on. Once I got home I let my car sit for a couple hours and then took it around the block. Again only my engine light was on. We will take it to the shop once the weather clears.
