2 Engine Gasoline Turbo/supercharger problem of the 2019 Buick Encore

Failure Date: 03/18/2025

The contact owns a 2019 Buick Encore. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate from a stoplight, the engine revved up before accelerating. While the vehicle was accelerating, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a certified mechanic, who diagnosed that the wastegate for the turbocharger was stuck, causing the turbocharger to fail. The contact owns a 2015 Buick Encore. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the engine revved and he was unable to shift the gears. 4 Engine Gasoline Turbo/supercharger problem of the 2017 Buick Encore

Failure Date: 02/06/2022

The contact owns a 2017 Buick Encore. The contact stated while his daughter was driving at various speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled inadvertently. The contact's daughter was unable to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic on three separate occasions where the turbo charger, the under-boost sensor, and spark plugs were replaced.
