Tail Light Switch problems of the 2007 Buick Lacrosse

The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. While driving at 55 mph, the headlights and tail lights failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where a temporary remedy was performed; however, the failure recurred within 24 hours. The repairs were unknown. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v755000 (exterior lighting) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.
