The contact also stated that his service air bag warning message would intermittently illuminate on the instrument panel while driving at various speeds, with a passenger in the passenger seat. The dealer was notified of the failure and offered no assistance for the repair. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
