The contact owns a 2000 Buick Lesabre. While driving various speeds, an abnormal rattling sound was heard coming from the rear passenger side. While the check engine indicator was illuminated, the vehicle began to decelerate while the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear calipers failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
