2 Coolant Leaking problem of the 1998 Buick Park Avenue

Failure Date: 09/05/2002

While driving in traffic, engine ligght came on and began to lose power. Susequent findings were that the composite intake plenum had several pin hole leaks which resulted in dumping of coolant into engine and seizure very shortly after light came on. Had to replace engine. New engine seems to have other problems now with power and smooth operation and excessive rattling.

3 Coolant Leaking problem of the 1999 Buick Park Avenue

Failure Date: 07/25/2002

While driving vehicle died out. Rubber sealant broke, and leaked coolant into the engine, causing engine to go out. This was a common problem. Maufacturer aware of problem.
