Front subframe rotted out where my control arm connects. Cannot safetly drive. There should be a recall on this part. There isnt one so now im stuck paying to fix it. Rear coil spring cracked, cannot fix due to recall of all gm coil spring. Cannot buy new part to fix it.
Interior chrome driver door handle: the chrome film splits which caused a sharp edge on the edge of the chrome film of the door handle. I cut the edge of my finger on this sharp edge. When I took my vehicle in to have this handle replaced, I had to purchase the entire driver's side door panel just to get the handle. When speaking to my service rep, he informed me of another elderly customer that also cut their finger on their door handle.

Water leaking into both front headlights results in dimming of headlights making it hard to see during nighttime driving and a real concern that the hid ballast wiring will short out causing complete loss of headlight operational function. There are many reports online of customers complaining that their hid headlights blew out due to water leakage and they were unable to see properly during nighttime driving. This is huge safety issue. Dealer confirmed fault with both front headlight assemblies and verified significant water leakage into headlight assemblies. Customer called gm customer service where issue was escalated to senior advisor. Senior advisor was unable to offer any cost assistance to customer despite significant safety concerns, due to vehicle age of 5 years and 2 months. Total cost approximately $2300.

I pulled into a parking space and stopped. I took my foot off the break and the car lurched forward, running into a wooden rail fence. The fence which was old, was knocked down. It all happened so quickly, I wasn't sure if I had hit the accelerator. Two days later I made a normal stop in traffic. After breaking, the car lurched forward. I pushed on the break pedal to stop the car, before it could hit the car in front of me. This time I was sure my foot had not hit the gas pedal. I am now giving the car extra breaking distance. In either case, I didn't notice if the tachometer increased rpm or not, though with the sudden acceleration rpm must have increased.
Ice build up in door jam, when driving during snow storms the snow melts runs down the channels into the door jam and then freezes up preventing the door to open.

Back-up lights - visibility lighted by back-up lights is terrible. The back-up lights are very dim and directed upwards instead of back onto the pavement as they should be. The stop lights actually give more light than the back-up lights. The first month I had the vehicle I had several near misses because I could not see the vehicles in back of me. I can actually see better shining a flashlight behind me than I can to see with the back-up lights. I took the car to the dealership requesting brighter bulbs to be installed insstead of the ones that are in there, and the dealer shop manager told me that they could not do it because the space inside the back-up lights would not allow enough ventilation. After inspection, she agreed that they were dim but that it looked like it was a "design flaw". The hole in the body made for the back-up lights is too small. General motors need to correct this before somebody either gets run over or ran into and someone is seriously injured. If they cannot correct the defect then they need to be forced to install sensors to detect something or someone behind you. I complained to general motors customer service and they they said that they spoke to the dealership in decatur, IL where I took it, and that they said the lights were operating as designed. Really? they were designed to be too dim? they refused to fix the problem. They also said if I added an additional back-up light that it would void the warranty. This is a catch-22 situation that is destined for a bad collision or worse and somebody is injured or killed. Several times I almost ran into another car because there was not enough light to see them. The brake lights actually gave more light then the back-up lights. Each several times I was backing up in a parking area and there was a car right behind me. Luckily my wife looked out the window to help me.
Shortly after returning from running errands, the parked car was observed smoking from under the hood. This was followed by flames fully engulfing the front end of the car, resulting in the tire exploding and schrapnel being launched.
Damage on drive side of rear bumper and trunk light, including trunk damage to the vehicle.
I was driving around a drivethru at kfc and the car immediately began to accelerate. The car began to speed up and sterring wheel locked causing my vehicle to crash into the side of the building and damage the gas line. Prior to the accident, I saw a recall on the news about the removal of the keys out of the ignition and noticed my vehicle was also able to remove the keys while the car still ran with a red security light. It was 8:30am and there was no other cars involved and I was not using the drivethru, I was just driving up to the door to see what time the establishment opened.

My car was parked. The key was stuck in the ignition. The car caught fire.
The interior center console has a brushed chrome trim around the outside and a mirror finish chrome bezel directly surrounding the gear shifter. I first realized it to be a concern when I was driving directly into the sun, and the sunlight reflected off the mirror image chrome bezel, under my dark sunglasses, and directly into my eyes, momentarily blinding me. As soon as I realized where the blinding light came from I removed my right hand from the steering wheel to block as much of the glaring light as possible. I had to keep my hand in the same position until I turned, and the sunlight no longer reflected off the chrome bezel. I have contacted Buick customer relations about this and was told they cannot do anything or even consider it to be a problem unless a recall is issued, which they won't do because they do not consider it a problem.
The contact owns a 2001 Buick Regal. The contact stated that water leaks onto the floorboard and the front passenger seat during inclement weather. When the water enters the vehicle, it saturates the entire floor. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer to determine the cause of failure. The failure mileage was 60,000 and current mileage was 64,400.
I have owned this car less than one year and am experiencing extreme paint (dark blue color) flaking. The flaking of paint is occurring around all parts of the car including doors, above wheels, back quarter panel, trunk, and hood. The car has 80,000 miles and has been well maintained--garage kept, washed weekly, and routinely has oil change and check ups. This seems to be a problem with the manufactures paint.

Experience problems with paint, as a result we can not trade or sell the vehicle unless vehicle is completely painted.
The hvac (temperature control panel) started fading in and out, and then eventually went blank. Seems to work fine. But cannot tell wether the defrost etc. Is set at and what temperature the heat or air is set at. Took to dealer, was told would cost $600. 00 to fix. I also have trouble with water coming into the car on the front passenger side on floor. Have been told that it may be draining in from up under windshield washers. Also, had to replace all four eagle LS tires. I had terrible vibration, took into shop and were told that they were unsafe to drive.
Sunvisors inability to remain in one position. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
