Letter from congressman visclosky on behalf of constituent re the materials used to manufacturer automobiles should be looked into for the safety of the consumers. The consumer stated the vehicle was in a minor accident that caused significant damage to the bumper. The consumer was informed that the bumper may have been made out of a tire compound. 2 Structure problem of the 2013 Buick Regal

Failure Date: 11/04/2013

The trim panel near the driver's left foot is not tightly secured and there is a space between trim panel and carpet. Driver's shoe sole gets caught under edge of panel and driver is unable to lift foot I order to apply clutch and therefore unable to control vehicle. Three very close calls accidents to date.

Failure Date: 07/16/2010

The contact owns a 2011 Buick Regal. The contact stated that the instrument panel lights would reflect off of the windshield, obscuring the contacts visibility during night driving. Trunk leaks,floor board passenger side fills with water. Gives false tire pressure reading warning,dual climate control was inoperable.

The bolts that hold up the engine cradle rusted out, causing engine to drop. Parts have been ordered from a dealership to correct the problem. Please provide any furhter information.
