Vehicle was leaking oil, the consuemr was told that the vehicle had a loose screw, the vehicle stalled while driving due to a faulty computer chip, the dealer reset and upgraded the chip, while backing up and when coming to a stop the vehicle makes noise, the dealer has been unable to duplicate the problem but lubricated the plastics around and inside the car, this minimize the noise but it still can be heard. While driving vehicle stalled unexpectedly which may have caused a crash. Dealer said that will reprogram computer in about a month. The vehicle had stall numerous time. Currently they are re-programming the computer (ecu unit) and claim this will be the answer to the problem.
The day after the car was purchased, the consumer noticed the check engine light on, the light came on several times and the dealer stated that the main computer and some sensors went out, the bad main computer was also causing vehicle vibration.
While traveling and without any indication vehicle stalled. Vehicle was serviced by dealer, and technician noticed computer chip needed to be replaced. Please provide further information.
