Complete brake line failure due to corrosion as described in recall number 10v105000 / 09149b. Original equipment retained from rear brake line repair for future inspection / litigation. Cadillac refused to repair / replace / reimburse for brake failure under recall bulletin 09149b.

While turning left at low speed the brakes failed so I centered the steering wheel and the car stopped.

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds when depressing the brake pedal it failed to operate. The contact mentioned that she used the emergency brakes to stop the vehicle however the contact kept driving with the emergency brakes on. The vehicle was taken to david's auto sales inc 1804 s peterson Ave, douglas, GA 31535 (912) 384-8570 where they informed the contact that the vehicle was encountered with a flood and the holes underneath the vehicles was deteriorating and that they could not assist her as she brought the vehicle in a "as in" condition. I was driving and went to stop at parking space and the brakes failed and I hit the wall in the parking space.

The brakes fail especially when turning right. I have taken it to two mechanics and they tell me they cannot fix it. I've talked with the dealer and they were not helpful. So I am now stuck with a vehicle I cannot repair, sell or drive. I understand there is a class action suit against gm. I don"t know if it would be helpful but I would like to be included. I need the car daily and cannot rely on it since it is a continual problem. Can you help?.

The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Cts. While driving and attempting to park the vehicle, the brakes failed to stop the vehicle when the brake pedal was depressed. Brakes fail when making sharp turns. I contacted gm and they claim to have never heard of the problem, I've had it fixed last year and it is starting to happen again.

Noticed oil puddle under vehicle which lead to discovery of total brake failure. When discussed with dealer service manager stated "so what I have a denali at home with the same problem". Gm offered no relief or solution when contacted.

While making a right turn pulling into a parking spot the vehicle failed to stop until it hit the curb. Since then it has happened several other occasions very sporadic but the situation is the same while pulling in to a parking spot brakes fail to engage as if I have no brake assist. I was turning into a parking space between two cars. So I made a sharp turn and the brakes failed. I was unable to stop the car and headed for the car in front of me. I stopped it by straightening the wheel. At this time I was able to stop. This happens everytime I make a sharp turn. Just trying to park in my driveway, I fear running into to my garage. Even making right turns. I just hope there is not a line of cars when I turn because I may run into the car in front of me. I have never made a sharp turn at fast speeds. So I say this only happens at any sharp turn at slow speeds. I feel this is a safety hazard.

While entering a parking place, my brakes failed to engage. The abs system warning appeared and also the traction control warning illuminated, as I struck a restraining post. This could have been tragic if a person had been infront of the vehicle. Less than 2 weeks prior to this I had a complete brake service and replacement of all worn equipment. Now I am conscerned for anyone driving this vehicle or anyone walking in front of this vehicle. I took the car back into my local garage to have the brakes rechecked. They found no problem. My plan was to take the car to the gm dealership where I purchased the car, yet, I find that this is a common problem and gm refused to help others with the same problem. They, others with the same problem, spent lots of money and to no avail. The problem has not been repaired at the dealerships and have left the customers very dissatisfied.

Dealer claims there are no brake problems and that they can't replicate problem. After speaking with several other owners who have the same problem, I "googled" the issue and found numerous complaints regarding the same situation and all indicatingt he dealerships were either unaware, unwilling or unable to resolve the problem. Finally I accidentaly bumped a car on the church parking lot on 7/10/2011 and I took the car in on 7/11/2011 for the 5th time since I purchased it on 8/24/2010. I told them now I don't want it back again until it is fixed, because I almost hit the owner of the vehicle, he had just step away from the trunk of his car, and I was trying to stand up on these brakes, but the car would not stop , it just rolled into the back of their car, thank god I was going very slow. My car was returned to me on 7/17/2011 and they claim to have fixed it this time, so far it has been a week and I haven't had a problem yet . If this has fixed the problem, I will put another message in here to let others know what the dealership says they did to repair my car.

Cars brakes failed to stop the vehicle at slow speed while parking. The antilock brakes suddenlty pulsated at about 3-4 miles per hour on dry pavement. Tthe car rolled freely into the car in front of it with brake pedal completely depressed.

Intermittent brake failure, during sharp right turns at slow speeds. Most times as you pull into a parking spot. Started as a rumble and bumping stop when pulling into parking spot, not long after buying the car, thought it was just how abs work?? over the past 7 years this has progressed to where the brake peddle goes to the floor and the car doesn't stop. I've brought it to the attention of the dealer who can never recreate, therefore cannot fix. We recently moved, and in our new driveway, I must make a very sharp right turn into my garage, I've almost hit my house multiple times due to the brake failure. Last week almost hit a parked car pulling into a parking spot. . . It took 1/2 the distance of the space and my son putting car into reverse to avoid the collision. Car is back at the dealer again and they want to charge me $2,500 to try a few things but not sure if any of them will fix the issue. There are many complaint about this for a few Cts years (2004-2007 it appears) but gm has not taken responsibility or acknowledged an issue. Does someone need to be killed first?.

2006 Cts brakes fail when slowing turning and braking.

Brakes failed. Brake pedal went to the floor. There was no warning light. Vehicle is a 2004 Cts.

2007 Cadillac Cts with several brake problems. Consumer states he has experienced partial brake failure three times. He states that mechanic stated they couldn't find a problem. Brake problems continue. One of the three times, the driver information center flashed and stated there was a brake problem. When the consumer applied the brake, the stopping distance was much greater than normal.
