Carrier/rack Problems of Cadillac CTS

The cue system is cracking and non responsive to any touch input. I have followed the instructions for resetting the system but this does not correct the lack of response nor the screen cracking. . I cannot control the navigation system, radio, specific climate settings, language of the instrumentation (currently stuck in french). This is not covered now that out of warranty and the dealership wants $2000. 00+ to replace the entire unit with an identical one that will develop the same problem. This is a design defect and these should all be recalled. Ny wife is disabled and relied on the navigation system to find directions to locations.

I have a 2014 Cadillac Cts and the cue was replaced about 4 years ago when it was under warranty. Now the cue screen has cracked on the left side and gone out again. I cannot pair my phone to the car or adjust the temperature from the top or feet area. This is ridiculous. I also see now there are numerous complaints regarding this faulty system. This needs to be recalled and properly fixed.

The cue infotainment screen cracked/webbed while my car was parked in my jobs parking lot. This caused all features using the screen including handsfee for calls inoperable. The dealer states this is a known recurring issue with the 2014 cue screens. Apparently they are prone to delaminating and cracking due to a poor manufacturing gm design. They stated they do not have a recall for the screens yet and the repair will be out of pocket.

Takata inflators. I have a loud cracking noise in several places behind the dash. Sometimes it happens when the car is still but mostly while driving on interstates. The loudest cracking noise is in the center of the dash. With the takata airbag recall I am afraid that this could be part of that. The car only has 11,000miles on it but the cracking has occurred since the car was new.
