My sunroof drain is often clogged resulting in the interior being soaked during slight or heavy rain fall. Maintenance has been done several times to no avail. Also whenever the weather is warm outside, the back doors will not unlock from the outside or when exiting the car. I always have to manually lock the doors upon leaving the vehicle. These problems have been virtually present since the car was purchased and have become a nightmare. The water log inside the vehicle almost always happen when the car is stationary.

Gm is not replacing my key switch. Some how they have convinced you that putting lip stick on a pig is the solution to their problem. It's not and shame on your department for letting them. I want it fix right, my manual does say anywhere not to put anything on my key ring. Do the right thing and make this right! thank you,.

For quite some time now I've been experiencing problems with locking/unlocking rear doors. Rear doors will not lock/unlock with keyless entry or front/passenger door pads. I have to manually cling to back to unlock doors. Have purchased several batteries for keyless remote. Due to doors remaining unlocked I cannot auto start vehicle unless I manually lock doors myself. Also computer is not recognizing keyless remote. I have purchased several batteries within the past 8 months. Car always tell me keyless remote not detected. To crank car I have to put keyless remote in middle of console to ignite. Both issues are very annoying and unsafe.
I was travelling at night on I-95 in florida at 70mph w/cruise control engaged. Vehicle suddenly fell out of 6th gear and engine over-revved to red-line causing engine to shut off completely (as it is designed to do) - resulting in sudden loss of vehicle speed, total loss of power steering and power brakes. I managed to guide vehicle safely to shoulder of road (only because traffic was light). I collected my thoughts and got vehicle re-started as normal. I continued on my trip but without using cruise control. Vehicle fell out of 6th gear several more times (and a countless number of times since the original incident), but I was able to prevent engine over-rev & shut-down by not using the cruise control feature. There is a transmission issue with this vehicle (see numerous internet complaints) and, given circumstances described above, I feel there should have been a safety recall on this vehicle a long time ago. Vehicle is equipped with a tremec t-56 manual transmission. Since first incident, I have taken vehicle to Cadillac dealerships. Some repairs were made, but none have solved the problem. Have also taken vehicle to authorized tremec service dealer - more repairs made. Problem still persists. Have scheduled another service repair visit to tremec dealer. Vehicle currently has 99,000 miles on it. Since vehicle is out of warranty, I have spent approximately $3,500 on this problem to date with no resolution to the problem.
