Vehicle accelerates on its own at highway speed and at first start. Consumer has to shift to neutral to slow the vehicle down. Vehicle has not been examined by dealer, dealer suggested that the cruise control cable from the throttle body be disconnected, since this acction was taken the vehicle has not experienced sudden acceleration.
The accelerator sticks, consumer has been to the dealership and they state they can fix it for a cost and the consumer is not satisfied, the problem existed when the vehicle was under warranty.
Throttle sticks shut when car is started, throttle suddenly releases as driver attempts to increase engine speed, causing vehicle to rapidly accelerate.
