Three problems related to windshield wiper/washer have been reported for the 1998 Cadillac Deville. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that while driving and no warning windshield wipers will work intermittently, and it will be hard for the consumer to see during rainy weather. Dealer notified. Consumer stated this failure occurred over a half of dozen times. He also had the same problems with his astro van, and fleetwood trailer.
Windshield washer fluid does not pump high enough. Consumer believed there was a design flaw. Dealer notified.
Windshield wipers constantly chatter,dealer says live with it. Tried new blades, inserts etc many times , no help. To this date they still chatter when it is raining. Car is under warranty to 6 yrs and 60000 miles. No satisfaction fron dealer. No response from manyfacturer when complaint was filed months ago.
