1 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 04/18/2007

2000 Cadillac Deville concours crankshaft rotation sensors and motor mount failures. Consumer states that he would like to know if these failures are common in the Cadillac's. Consumer was told that they were popular by the dealer. The consumer stated the engine stalled several times a month because of the crankshaft sensor.

2 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2001

On three occasions engine charging system light would come on, and engine would stall while vehicle was in operation. Dealership could not duplicate defect, but have replaced crankshaft position sensor, and retested system. Please provide any additional information/attachments.

3 Engine Stall problem

Engine has failed 3 times at high or low speeds without warning, causing loss of power steering and brakes. The engine stalled due to crank shaft sensors failure. The vehicle stalled out again because pcm needed updating. Driver seat lumbar unit sensor circuit malfunctioned.
