1 Catalytic Convertor problem

Failure Date: 12/19/2003

Consumer was blind, and his wife drove him around. But she was having trouble seeing because there was a foul smell that came into the vehicle, and the substance burnt her eyes. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer/mechanic 3 times, but the problem was not resolved. Mechanic told consumer that he was waiting for a part before he could repair the problem.

2 Catalytic Convertor problem

Failure Date: 08/21/2002

Car has a very strong sulfur odor. Catalytic converter has been replaced but did not fix the problem. Car has been into service 3 times. Odor strong enough that passengers have become ill, especially when the sunroof is open. Children at school back away from car due to odor. Gm/Cadillac states it is a problem we "have to live with".

3 Catalytic Convertor problem

When driving there is a rotten egg odor inside. Took to dealer, and the dealer stated that the vehicle needed a catalytic converter.
