general problems of the 2007 Cadillac Escalade

2007 Escalade tail gate came open on its own all cargo spilled onto the street . The car was in gear moving thru an intersection. This has happened once, then I stopped driving the vehicle I contacted cad they did not seem too interested or concerned because vehicle has 60k miles and is out of warranty.

I have a Cadillac Escalade 2007 awd. It has 70,000 miles on it and the chrome plated interior door handles have peeled off exposing sharp edges. Both the passenger and the driver interior door handles have exposed sharp edges. Through normal use, the chrome has peeled. There has been no abuse to them. These sharp edges have cut my finger once and also passenger fingers on three occasions. The cut is worse than a paper cut. They average about 1. 5 inches. Nothing has been done to correct the failure as I am out of bumper to bumper warranty.
