I was on the highway going about 65mph and the vehicle started turning off and on. Pushed on the gas pedal and the engine just revved up. This isn't the first time it has done this.

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph over a patch of ice, the contact lost complete control of his vehicle. The contact stated that the service stabilitrack and the traction control light had illuminated on the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to mccurley integrity Chevrolet Cadillac 1325 north autoplex way, pasco, wa 99301 where he was informed that the parts to fix the vehicle are no longer available. The contact then called two other GMC dealers he found online(dealer unknown) who also gave him the same information. The manufacturer had been notified through the dealer(mccurley integrity Chevrolet Cadillac) who initially gave him the same information as the dealer. Issue started by having the engine cutoff or go into low power mode. Mechanic tried fining power issues, ended up replacing pcm board. Issue remained. Then oil pressure sensor check engine light came on, had a mechanic replace the oil pressure sensor and everything worked for a little while. Next low oil pressure message came up, stating to shut off engine. After reading around, the issue seems to be that the camshaft actuator is being starved of oil due to low oil pressure, that is caused by the camshaft and bearings being bad. This faulty part causes the vehicle to turn off while running, extremely dangerous! how long until someone dies? need gm to make this right. Vehicle is under 80k miles.

I was driving at the speed of 75mph, then all of a sudden I was reduced to 30mph. My display information read stabilitrak service, reduced speed. My concern is that my family and I could have been killed due to this dangerous situation. I feel that this problem needs to be recalled. Somebody out on the highways will be injured or killed if something is not done.

2007 Cadillac Escalade apparently was built with severe camshaft and bearing issue. 1st. Stabilitrak, traction control light and warning. Straight and level driving on clear dry day. This is when engine was running on highway and engine fully at operating temperature. This forced transmission/engine into limp mode. Mccaddon dealership installed complete transmission cost over $8,000---- issue came back. Then they replaced fuel pump. Then they replaced oil pump which seemed to fix issue, cost $2084. 04. Now at 225,000 miles oil pressure low, stop engine light, and warning gong. No oil leaks, oil levels always watched and maintained with regular changes. Took into dealership thinking they would replace oil pressure sensor. Instead they charged 130. 00 to diagnose that engine was losing pressure. Their solution, replace engine at cost of $10,000. Now online search indicates that this is actually caused by bad camshafts and bearings. Not sure what I will do, but doubt I will pay dealership to replace engine at cost of $10,k. Gm needs to own up to defective part and recall. Some would say what do you expect from car with over 200k miles? I expect it to be diagnosed correctly, root cause identified and fixed first time. Or at least 2nd time, or 3rd time. Other bills on this car for various things from manifold bolts $1220 which included a power steering hose, axle wheel bearing $704, ball joints, $2015,engine seals$831. 77.

Just purchased this 2014 vehicle for $32900 with 73345miles and on the way home noticed that the ride was horrible. Upon checking with my mechanic the ride suspension was at fault. I am having it repaired and will seek reimbursement from the dealer. They knew nothing about it even though they had it for over 4 months on their lot.

This vehicle equipped a front camera (23171580) to provide lane departure warning, collision warning, auto brake function, but after a front window glass change, all these functions are not available, and after research, we found gm require a 30 minutes re-calibrate window, after that I have to replace a new camera. In gm service instruction document sb-10057012-2409. Pdf, it said: if after 30 minutes the original camera will not calibrate, replace the front view camera. Gm provide a free replacement to vehicles under the bumper-to-bumper coverage, they knew this problem clearly. These functions are important to the safety of this vehicle, and now it's a threaten for some functions are not available. I want gm recall these cameras of replace it for free to customer needed.

What is in motion service stability track low oil pressure shut engine off.

Instrument panel goes in & out. Can't tell how fast you're going, what gear you're in, whether you're in park reverse drive. Was told previous recall 08v441000 was issued 8/28/2008 addressed this issue. Don't feel safe driving. Dealer can't get new part to replace electrical problem. Instrument panel cluster will go out while you are driving along or parked.

Sporadically when driving the car, turning the wheel hard left or right the message will flash "service stabilitrak" while at the same time, the steering wheel position locks, the electronic system in the car shuts off, and no control of the vehicle is available. This lasts for approximately 1-2 seconds before the steering unlocks and vehicle control is restored. Vehicle has been in the service center for over a week now, and the dealer is trying to return the car to me stating "we cannot recreate the issue so we have no fix". We have photo and video of this happening (after I pulled over to take the video in a safe spot). This has happened multiple times with no rhyme or reason.

Engine has rod knock like noise and gm says its carbon build up on the pistons have heard this noise on several Cadillac Escalades with the 6. 2liter engine from 2007 -2014 mine faisled as a result of this noise and and was ignored by gm corporation I am concerned for other with this same condition. This noise happened in the morning even after warm up on not after car has already reached its operation oil pressure. And would last for up to 5 minutes every time I started the vehicle and was more noticeable on cold mornings this was a motor with 70k miles on lt and was a 3 year , 100, 000 mile warranty motor.

Faulty bearings on camshaft failing causing inadequate oil pressure resulting in "limp mode", subsequently leading to engine failure and illumination of stabilitrak, abs and parking assist icons. "limp mode" cuts engine off and driver loses ability to control the vehicle, 1 fatality and 3 injuries have resulted because of this.

While driving the 2018 Escalade esv rwd on interstate 87 north yesterday, driving about 33mph, the Escalade suddenly swerved left and slid into the median and then rolled over on its roof. After the accident, I noted I had received diagnostic onstar emails that morning while driving that the vehicle stabilitrak and antilock brake system were experiencing issues. I also phoned onstar today about if and when they received a crash notification. The crash notification did not occur with onstar until the vehicle was turned back over, not when the crash occurred but an hour later. The vehicle is less than 60 days new.

It has happened several times , while driving in a parking lot at 10 mph while making a turn the engine shut off, lost steering and brakes and the stabilitrak warning light came on. . . The engine restarted in about 5 seconds. . . I contacted Cadillac main office lawanda 855-880-1400 ex 5911833 and sent a email to mary barra ceo. . . They gave me a case # 9-5065905042 they are aware of the problem and recalled over one million vehicle but my VIN number has not been added yet. . They will not fix it till gm adds my VIN to the national recall #18289. . . I was told off the record that money trumps consumer safety. . . . They are making us pickup the car with the knowledge by us driving the car could kill someone if we loose steering and brakes while driving. . .

This vehicle is about to shake me out of it. The sun roof even shakes at all speeds and at all time. A $50. 000. 00 piece of junk. I'm embarrassed to let someone ride with me. It's unsafe!!!.

Bought this vehicle from a dealer and cannot get it inspected due to the issues with the abs and steering sensors. Replaced abs module and am still having trouble with it. The dealer would not do anything to resolve any of these issues because I bought it as is and they refused to give me any kind of warranty and had me sign an affidavit stating so. When I left the dealership I had to fuel up and hit the brakes and could barely get it stopped. Found a lot of bad brake lines and the abs light came on.

I have the "service traction control" , "stabilitrak", "low oil pressure" lights keep coming on and engine is consuming quite a large amount of oil and is now knocking. After eliminating other areas, the mechanic has came to a conclusion that the knocking is from the result of a faulty push rod. I believe that I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle and the vehicle currently has 160,000+ miles. I am a 48 year old driver with 4 juvenile children and use the Cadillac primarily for family trips as I have a company vehicle to commute to and from work. Some of the reviews that I have read about the engine say that the engine is designed for high performance and longevity. And even though the miles that are currently getting high, I don't think that this engine has achieved it. The warning lights that I have listed have only came on when the vehicle was in motion.

2007 Cadillac Escalade problems first reported to Cadillac at 86,453 miles. Electrical problem. Car shuts off at intersection unexpectedly, I hace to raise hood and shake battery cables to get to restart. Upon turning off car, no power to ignition, no interior lights, no power at all. I have to raise hood and shake cables again. I've replaced battery twice, both positive and negative cables, fuses, grounding straps, cleaned terminals at grounds etc. No relief from problem. At hwy speeds causes transmission to unexpectedly downshift, cycles door locks up and down, gauges go blank or start cycling on & off. Ac system turns on heat unexpectedly. Service stabilitrak & abs light comes on. Radio turns off and resets to Jan 1 2005 12:00am, dvd/cd player stays on and cycles after car is shut off. Dealer can not find issue. Takata recall. Service stabilatrak check engine code p011 had everything done and now dealer says must replace engine. I have replaced camshaft crankshaft and also the s noses. Still p011 code!!this is a major issue with this model car oil presses issues. There needs to be a recall on this vehicle!!I received a recall notice for the air bag in September 2016 I have been in contact with the dealer and have no parts to the recall yet almost 2 years.

My 2015 Cadillac Escalade has been in the shop for 50+ days since purchasing in 2015 for defective brakes, transmission, trim, technology, chassis, electrical, and hvac. I have contacted gm and they don't want to repurchase the vehicle. The vehicle is constantly in the shop for problems and it is not a vehicle that should be operated on public roadways. Numerous parts of my transmission have been replaced/reprogrammed/rebuilt before due to defects in design and build quality. The transmission consistently vibrates, jerks and shutters when driving, pops and creaks when stopped and clunks when launching from stop or rolling stop. The transmission causes the car to take off in 4th gear rather than in 1st gear which means the car feels as if there is no power to propel the vehicle. The transmission slips and feels as if it is broken. I have taken it to the dealer at least 14 times and gm now does not want to replace the transmission even though the dealer has verified the concern and documented it. I feel that gm is not doing enough to ensure safe vehicles are on the road. This transmission issue is going to cause an accident one day. I have already put gm on notice all the way up to the executive level and they don't want to do anything about it. I feel that NHTSA should investigate the issues that plague 2015 full size gm SUV owners. There are a lot of us out there according to my research.

Truck stalls out when pulling out. No matter how much you push on the gas pedal. Getting service stability trak control messages, when turning it off it seems it does not stall out as bad. Gas gauge is sticking, never know how much gas you truly have everyday!!.

Collision alert on while in park. They also flash faintly while driving with nothing in front. All sensors clear of debris. This is a recurrent issue for which I was told it was cue related and that replacing the cue would fix. (recurrent issue) service person was able to see this problem as it happened issues with my escalate which include the collision alert displaying ( flickering ) ongoing. Hard to take pictures as it happens while driving transmission bangs low speed (recurrent issues) vehicle locked itself with the keys inside. My wife had to call me to get the spare set and unlock the truck. Theft attempted warning light that was triggered while I was driving and collision lights were being triggered as well I have additional doc I could send bu this system isn't allowing it. After driving the truck from work one day, all the lights on the dash starts flickering, there was a loss of power, no acceleration and speed gauge drop completely. I had no idea of the speed that I was driving plus the doors started locking and unlocking. I have looked online and there are many people with the same issue with gm products.

The vehicle was received as a trade-in from a 2004 Cadillac Escalade that exhibited the same failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

I purchased a new vehicle a little over a year ago, picked it up at 4pm, on my drive home I noticed a vibration when driving at speeds from 35 miles per hour plus. The vibration increases with speed. I brought it back to the dealer the next morning on Saturday at 8am. I was asked to drop it off during the week, which I did. They replaced 4 tires. This did not correct the problem. I brought it back again a few weeks later, two tires were replaced a second time. I still had the same problem. I brought it back again, the 3rd time they replaced on tire. It did not correct the vibration. I now have my vehicle in for service again, they replaced the drive shaft. I just received an email from the service manager informing me the drive shaft replacement did not correct the problem.

I been fighting this p0011 code for over a year. I've replaced the whole engine, sensors, ecm, and other things associated with this problem. This code can be anything. Doesn't make any sense for 100 things to be associated with 1 code. I've owned many vehicles and I honestly never experienced a problem like this. Costed me over 10k in diagnostics, parts, and labor. I'm not the only 1 with this problem. Very unfair. Cadillac should be responsible for this problem. This engine design has too many flaws!.

Airbags have been recalled and we have been unable to get it fixed at the dealership as they continue to tell us that there is no fix. We can not sell the vehicle as their is an active recall on it currently and we can not drive it as it doesn't feel safe.

Engine started misfiring while on highway. Engine light came on and was blinking. I pulled off the road and had the car towed to dealer. The result is #6 and #8 are misfiring and also were told that 2 manifold bolts on right side of engine were broken off in engine body. If they cannot get the bolts to back off they will have to pull the head to drill them out on the inside.

Escalade having same issues as everyone els. Oil pressure due to poor build and cut backs on general motors behalf. A unit with a price up words of $70-$80k should not have the issues. We as the customers and the victomes should not pay the price and our own lives (families lives) for a companies selfishness. Passenger seat controle module burnt due to yet another faulty gm product. They seam to not care and want to fix the issues that can again lead to harm to anyone in and around the vehicle. I still own this vehicle but it has been a utter disgrace of what kind of products we have been sold. To this day would like to know why the company recalls parts that would cousy them nickels and dimes and not the major items that can lead to disasters like death. For crying out loud they replaced my DE others dash. . . (dash). So replace a plastic dash that has no harm what so ever and OH don't mined if you truck catches on fire do to faulty modules. Shame how gm has let a company like Toyota who actually listens to the costumes seem like a more patriotic company and keeps their customers safe on the roads. Thank you for your time, now it's time for action. I still drive the truck everyday and pray I don't die every time .

At cruising speeds the vehicle will display service stabilitrack,turn off the traction control, and reducing engine power. Not allowing you to go faster the 15 mph. This happens on any road way.
