Radio/tape Cd Player Problems of Cadillac Escalade

While driving down a hill in town, my vehicle completely shut down. Only component still working was the radio. No flashers, no turn signals. Was able to glide to the side of the road and put the car in park. I was able to restart the car. Dash looked different after restart, info missing. Drove a few more blocks, stopped and shut car down. When I restarted again the vehicle was back to normal.

2008 Cadillac Escalade. Consumer states vehicle suddenly caught fire and burned while traveling the consumer stated on June 30, 2011, his wife picked the vehicle up from the dealer after having the windshield wiper fluid heater recall performed, a inoperative lock on one of the doors fixed and an evaluation of the dvd system that wasn't working properly. The dealer claimed the recall was fixed. However, within 24 hours the vehicle caught on fire. The investigator was unable to determine the cause of the fire, because of the extensive fire damage within the dashboard and the lack of physical evidence. An electrical cause, could not be eliminated.

Bad lease on 2004 Cadillac Escalade customer states that the car was damaged at purchase and was not told and wants a reimbursement* the consumer and his wife complained of the poorly designed leather seats. The seats were frayed. The cd p layer had to be replaced because it didn't recognize the discs. The consumer also complained about the paint peeling. The driver side door mirror light was inoperative. The dealer replaced the bulb. (lawyer wrote in on behalf of complaints).
