Carrier/rack problems of the 2014 Cadillac SRX

Screen just cracked.

The Cadillac que (radio screen) has cracked in upper right corner & expanding down the screen & toward left side of screen causing distortion to what is displayed. My car is garage kept and not even used as a daily vehicle. I am very frustrated & disappointed in this flaw & would appreciate a recall to have screen replaced at no charge.

I purchased a 2014 Cadillac Srx and began having problems with the transmission 7 months later. I was experiencing hard shift changes constantly while driving, to the point where I almost caused an accident. I took the car to the dealer 5 times for a diagnostic review. Occording to them they did not find anything wrong with the car until I drove it there and physically requested a manager to come out and drive the vehicle with me. Then and only then they admitted something was wrong with the car, they kept it for 2 weeks and claimed they performed a complete transmission overhaul. I took the car home and 5 weeks later I was back at the dealership with the same problem, this time worst than the 1st time. By then my warranty had expired, they did not want to guarantee their repair and they wanted me to pay almost 3,000 dollars for transmission repair they claimed to have done. My other issue is with the cue, it cracked while the car was at the dealership and was told I needed to pay 1,500 dollars to fix. Second time I had an issue with it. This model has so many issues it definitely should be recalled before someone dies on the road from a faulty transmission and cues that can be dangerous because you haver to use your cell phone for navigation.

The cue screen is not functioning. The screen has spider-looking cracks, I can not sync my phone or anything else. I was told by Cadillac that replacing it would cost 1600. 00.

The backup monitor touchscreen cracked into a spiderweb effect. I don't know why but was suddenly like that and has gotten worse.

My 2014 Cadillac cue screen has developed spider web cracks which prevent me from seeing through the screen. This has become a safety issue because I am unable to view the backup cameras. This is a known issue with Cadillac with numerous complaints. I have only 35,000 miles on my car. One day after leaving my car outside during a hot day, the cracks appeared. Cadillac/gm should be responsible for this defective product.

Shortly arriving being moved to texas by the army, I noticed a hairline crack in the top left corner of my cue navigation system. After a few days the crack spread and began affecting the touch screen. Initially a small section at the bottom of the screen stopped responding to touch. Thus making it impossible to change radio stations or enter an address into the navigation. Approximately a week later the entire cue system stopped working. From what I have seen online, this is a common issue for the Cadillac cue system shortly after vehicles reach 50k miles.

It was a 93 degree temperature day and the cue system internally cracked while parked outside my work office and delaminated causing me to be unable to use temperature controls or defrost temperatures at times. It only occasionally works but very rarely.
