Steering Column Problems of Cadillac SRX

When I turn on the car the gas gauge and the temp gauge do not move. The security and no traction warning lights stay on. When I drive the car on the street steering is sluggish, the trans rpms are high, sometimes the car goes to the left while driving. On the radio there it reads anti theft system hit button to clear. When I turn off the car the key will not come out of ignition and I have to use screwdriver to push a button in steering column to release it. One week everything worked great, no warning lights, gauges worked, no high rpms on trans and steering was fine and the key came out of the ignition and nothing on radio about anti theft sys. But everything is not working again and now engine light is on.

The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated while driving the vehicle at low speeds, the steering column jammed. The contact stated that the vehicle resumked to normal after thirty seconds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be replicated.
