Immediately upon picking my 2011 Cadillac Srx up from don thornton Cadillac for recall on the rear toe link, I had more problems with my car than when I dropped it off. I immediately called and let them know my car would not accelerate,I still had something wrong with my battery, I had warning lights on my display that were safety issues, such as service airbag, seatbelt, service stabilitrak, service rear axle, service traction control, service park assist, service suspension,"battery saver mode",service brakesthey told me it would cost me $50 to have it towed, whatever the cost for them to diagnose, the cost to fix whatever was wrong. The general manager told me that the problems with my car when I brought it in:(issues related to the rear toe link recall)ie:service stabilitrak, service traction control, service rear axle, swaying in the back. Something was wrong with my battery and powersteering. I took it to another gm certified dealer, and"the ground was burnt and melted the rear fuse box,the ground to the fuse box was fried. " the "pre-invoice" I received when picking my car up from don thornton Cadillac said "performed wire repair to ground wire". I paid $1,178. 24 for faulty repairs. After finding out that the work they performed, was not fixed at all, the right rear wheel hub was loose, the melted wires going from the back up to the front wires, I am now without a car. Completely. Don thornton Cadillac is not taking responsibility what so ever for the problems, safety issues, that I had when I picked up my car,and certainly did not have when I dropped it off. Please help!I do not know what to do. I am now without a car. It was by the grace of god, that I actually wasn't able to drive my car. I could have had my 3 grandchildren,or my 2 elderly aunts(81&76)that I am responsible to take them to their doctors appointments,or son in the car if something tragic could have happened by the right rear wheel hub coming off while driving and they were in the car!.

I received a recall on my Cadillac Srx for a rear toe link separation update issue. I had the repair completed at plaza Cadillac in leesburg, FL. This repair was completed on 03/11/2022. I have received multiple recall notices by text message, and official recall notices about this work. I feel that there is gross incompetence somewhere in the system between the authorized dealer and gm and I have been unable to resolve this to stop the incorrect notices about a recall where the work has been completed. I feel that this is not only an inconvenience to receive these incorrect recall notices, but it is also a safety issue, because I could mistake a future recall issue about a problem with my vehicle and overlook it due to the incorrect notices that I have received and continue to receive.

The recall was performed on my Cadillac Srx back in November. The recall fix that gm put out has now cause more problems than there was before the fix. What has happened is that the solid toe link is to long and has put my cars alliagnment way out to the point that the car is not safe to drive. I had new struts, shocks and front toe links put on just before the recall fix and there was nothing wrong until the fix. Now the reallaignment can not be done because of the fix. Gm needs to recall the recall. I am taking it back to the dealer that performed the recall fix and telling them that I am not paying to have it corrected. My mechanic stated that in order to correct the problem that gm created is now going to cost over $500 a cost that I should not have occurred.

So while driving the stabilizer light came on and it swerved when I went to hit my brakes to stop the car because I was heading across a bridge the brake somehow lost power and I pushed and it didn’t do anything by the time I got the pressure to come back I guess after pushing a few times it was too late and I rear ended another vehicle and completed pushed in the entire front on my truck. This is the second time the light came on but the first time it swerved and then the brakes going out shouldn’t have happened because I got the brakes replaced earlier this year.
