Transmission Noise Problems of Chevrolet 1500

While driving transmission made a noise, slipped,and then locked. When this occurred vehicle stopped accelerating. Vehicle was towed to a dealership, who replaced the sun seal and pins that sheared off. The failure recurred 3 times in which the same parts were replaced. The cause of the failures was undetermined.

While driving 50 mph there was a loud screeching noise, lost transmission. Had vehicle towed to aamco. Found a part inside transmission was faulty, sungear reaction shell. Consumer found out through atra organization.
