Two problems related to door have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Astro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When vehicle is on an incline side sliding door will not catch and fails to secure firmly. Dealership is aware of problem. When the incline is greater, the sliding door does not catch at all according to the dealer.
The l shape metal bracket that attaches the sliding door to the van, is an inch above the passenger's head. Manufacturer was notified about problem. The van was taken to the dealership. The dealership could not correct this problem.
