One problem related to brake drum has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Excessive rear brake wear. Front brakes show little to no wear. Never have my front brakes worn out before the rear. Everybody I've talked to agrees with me that there is a real problem. It appears thet the rear brakes are the major stopping power not the front.
