Three problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Accelerator pedal would intermittently stick while shifting into drive or reverse. When this occurs it causes a run away vehicle, which can lead into a crash. Dealer / manufacturer were not notified at this time. Feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
Intermittently when accelerator is applied throttle sticks. Dealer has been notified.
Gas pedal sticks, causing very dangerous lurching. Throttle body must be cleaned at least every 30,000 miles.
