Two problems related to front suspension upper arm have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Left front driver's side wheel buckled underneath the car. Vehicle was towed to a mechanic. Mechanic stated, the upper control arm was broken. *akthe upper ball joint broke. The sensor, sheild and a new wheel were all damaged. There was no warning given to consumer prior to failure.
Consumer's vehicle was going 30mph around a curve and it went off the road. Consumer didn't remember anything else. Consumer has found out through different dealer that upper control arms were bad and caused vehicle to flip over. Chevrolet insisted they could do nothing to assist consumer.
