Labels problems of the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer

Two problems related to labels have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Labels problem

Failure Date: 11/13/2000

Consumer received manufacturer's recall c00063-s regarding the sticker for payload information, the sticker states that the payload information is wrong on the vehicle certification label and then refers the consumer to the owner's manual, the owner's manual states to refer to the certification label for the correct information, leaving no helpful or correct information, the consumer had to call the manufacturer to receive the payload information.

2 Labels problem

The consumer received recall regarding the certification label which lowered the payload/ axle rating, the consumer had already installed a lightweight snowplow on the vehicle after the dealer referred him to the payload label on the inside of the door frame(certification label). Both front wheel bearings have gone bad and consumer feels this could be due to overload. The consumer has asked several dealers if his vehicle is overloaded and could not give him an answer.
