1 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 05/27/2023

Chevy Blazer has low milage. However, it still has several electrical issues radio at engine start goes to loudest point and car seats move backwards at awkward times which can cause an accident. Suspension very off guard, truck drifts to the sides while driving and makes an awkward sound when turning steering wheel. The complete break / steering system is off and may cause an accident if not properly take care right away. I have no money to do this big job. Please remediate.

5 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2010

My 2001 chevy Blazer stop lights are not operable due to a known gm recall 08v231000 however they are not willing to fix this without me paying up front. Loss of the brake lights and turn signals have made my vehicle inoperable. There is a short in the switch that cause smoke to come from the steering column as well.

6 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2009

Brake lights fail to illuminate, hazard flasher intermittently works, top center brake light works as it should. Replaced the flasher unit to no avail. Determined to be a defective turn signal-multifunction switch. Researched the numerous complaints and saw that there was a recall for this problem but according to the dealer my vehicle does not fit it to the recall. I see that there are many many people with the same problem. It seems that this recall did not include many of the effected vehicles.

7 Electrical System problem

The following failed all at the same time on my 2001 Blazer: cruise control , right turn signal failure, and brake lights remained bright at all times, upon turning off and removing key from vehicle all electronics/lights/etc. Power on whenever brake pedal was depressed. The following failed all at the same time on my 2001 Blazer: cruise control failure, right turn signal failure, r/l/c brake lights remain bright at all times, upon turning off and removing key from vehicle, all electronics/lights/etc. Power on whenever brake pedal is depressed. Master control switch replaced by chevy dealer seems to have fixed the problem.

10 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 02/05/2004

Wipers activate without me switching them on, attempts to disengage were helpless.

11 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 01/19/2004

I am pregnant and very scared to drive this vehicle again. I was told by rick, service manager, toni hall at flow Chevrolet a year ago that this 4x2 and 4x4 wheel drive was corrected while under warranty. They refused to fix the major problem and changed out a switch. During this whole year I haven't been able to drive comfortablly. Now they have had to replace the whole front end. A brand new car now with only 39,000 miles. The noise is terrifying and I've been insulted by gm with a loyalty incentive for $700 to take off on a new vehicle. No one can asure me that I will be safe, even after they told me it was fixed a year ago. I'm scared to drive it. I will leave it at their place until they can get me a safe car to drive.

12 Electrical System problem

Failure Date: 11/16/2003

While traveling on I-275 @75mph, I lost all lights both exterior and interior. This was the 9th electrical problem with my Blazer since purchasing it new in oct. 2001.

The tail lights failed to work properly when the brakes were applied. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the mechanic stated that the problem was due to a possible short in the electrical system. The problem could occur at anytime.
