While driving the upper ball joint snapped and the wheel collapsed sideways, leaning towards the inside of the vehicle, but the vehicle continued to travel at 70 mph. The contact had the vehicle towed, and replaced the ball joint as well as anything that might have been damaged himself. The current mileage was 76,000 and the failure mileage was 74,000.
