Four problems related to front suspension wheel bearing have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving the consumer heard a loud noise. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the mechanic replaced the wheel bearings on the right side. The hub assembly was also replaced.
I have replaced the left front wheel bearing on my 2001 Chevrolet Blazer (it was worn out after about 53,000 miles. Now, I have to replace the right front wheel bearing. These wheel bearings are about 400 dollars a piece (1 whole unit) and with the labor the costs come to about 600 dollars. This has got to be some sort of defect and I would like for someone to investigate this.
Heard clicking sounds from front wheels of car. Have only had the car two years and had to replace the wheel bearings in both tires!.
Hub and bearing assembly, only to find that it is a common problem, this car has little less than 40,000 miles on it, paying up the yang yang just buying it, and already having a problem with it, please note, that much of this is long distance driving, is it cheap assembly parts, or just bad workmanship? said wear and tear, if it is a common problem, must not be wear and tear, must have a cheap part.
