Windshield Problems of Chevrolet C1500

Window motor regulator has malfunctioned. Dealer has been notified, and stated that this was a common problem. Consumer states that sloppy driver side window failed, dealer found cable had come out of motor/ regulator assembly and consequently wrapped around the motor/regulator. There was no offer of warranty repair since truck is over the mileage covered.

Warrant is 3/36 but chevy now says 12000 miles. I think thats b/s a windshield should not start going bad in two years. D.

Three windshields have been replaced. The process starts with a stone chip and later when the defroster is turned on, a crack races across the windshield.

The windshield on vehicle has a deep tint at the top which blocks vision. Owner also cannot tell what color the traffic light is. There is too much heat resistance in windshield.
