Chevrolet C2500 owners have reported 1 problem related to engine and engine cooling (under the engine and engine cooling category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stopped running at 65 mph. Dashboard lights did not come on. On the side of the road (where I was able to pull off the highway) it finally re-started. I brought the vehicle home. When I attempted to make another trip, the same thing happened. I was less than a mile from my home. I eventually was able to restart. The final outcome was that the ignition switch was the problem. I called the dealership and they advised me that my vehicle was not part of the recall. I believe that it should be included in the recall for gm vehicles. My truck is a 6. 5 liter diesel. Which may be the reason it was not included in the recall. I believe this is a factory defect and should be included in the recall.
