Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the turn signals failed to chime, the face plate functions shorted and displayed a blank screen, and the radio shut off numerous times. American Chevrolet (4742 mchenry Ave, modesto, CA 95356, (209) 575-1606) performed routine maintenance on the vehicle and chase Chevrolet (6441 holman rd, stockton, CA 95212, (209) 475-6600) was notified of the failures. Chase Chevrolet stated that this was a known issue for the 2011 to mid 2015 models due to replacing the same oem radio. Chase Chevrolet diagnosed the vehicle and found two fault codes. The dealer updated the software and indicated that the radio and face plate needed to be replaced, and the system needed to be reprogrammed electronically. If the contact entered the vehicle to listen to the radio, it would shut off in less than fifteen minutes, including other electrical functions simultaneously. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures several times and the contact was waiting on a response. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
