The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro convertible. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph within cross winds, the convertible top cover, which was referred to as a tonneau, detached from the vehicle. The contact was unable to locate the convertible top cover when maneuvering to the side of the road. The convertible top cover would not be replaced due to concern of a potential safety hazard. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,500. Updated 06/06/12.

I pulled out of my parking place at my condominiums. I could not get my car to stop. The brakes were not working. This has happened many times over the years since I purchased the vehicle. I have taken it into the dealerships in my area on numerous occasions but they have told me they will only fix it if it does it while it is in their care. I have other people who have been driving my car when it has happened but it has not happened while I have been at the dealership. The most recent occurrence happened and I ran into poll and my bumper now needs to be replace.

Within only one month convertable top had to be replaced. After 6 months another hole is developing on the convertable top due to chaffing from the frame assembly when down. It looks like the frame assembly is causing the damage to the convertable top. Gm has changed the first top but has put the second top in a status of awaiting engineering. Top is still not changed. Almost 4000 miles on car now.

There was no incident. My complaint is, this vehicle has very little metal. I put a magnet up to every panel and it didn't stick anywhere. I'm paying $30,000. For plastic!!! the whole car inside and out!! they expect a few little air bags to protect me in a crash? I'm dead.

There is rust underneath vehicle. Also talked with victor dijelio from the dealership. He told him that rust underneath vehicle was a safety issue.

While riding along in my Camaro out of no where the sunvisor comes down striking my head and fallen on my lap. If I was using it for seeing and I was following someone in the sun it could have been a major crask. Also the sunvisor fell off my lap onto the floor interfering with the brake and gas pedal. This is dangerous and should be recalled.

Kick panel located above the brake pedal and gas pedal, drops down, causing an obstruction to brake pedal.
