After 3 weeks of no using the car, the radio system stopped working. This included the backup camera, the charging ports, the gps, and other screen features. Due to the nature of the size of the car and the blindspots, this made it really hard to see other cars/people when reversing. The car was seen by the dealership and I was told I would need a new screen. After replacement of the screen, the problem still wasn't fixed and I was told I would need a new radio. Changing the radio fixed the problem. Prior to this incident, there was no warning signs. Upon discussing with the dealership, this problem has existed with other chevy models for unknown reasons.
