Both passenger and driver side airbags deployed while driving straight down the center lane of an empty, 3-lane road, with a speed limit of 40. There was no impact to have caused them to deploy. There is no damage to the vehicle body, tires, etc.

None of my 2017 Camaro airbags deployed after an 18 wheeler hit me while driving on the interstate. I was going approx. 55 mph in the far slow right lane. Trucker hit me on drivers side and my car was hooked to the truck. He then drug me approx. 50' at speeds of 45-55 mph. When I did finally get loose from truck it the slung me in front of the truck where he then hit me again from behind. At least one of the 4 airbags should have deployed. Especially the drivers side airbag. This angers me b/c it is one main reason I purchased this car. And in addition, apparently non of the crash response sensors worked either. Onstar was supposed to contact me should an accident occur. I tried calling them while I sat in the middle of the interstate. Sat on hold for an agent 10 mins before I finally hung up.

My vehicle has 40,970 miles on it and the passenger side air bag sensor failed and it needed to be replaced. I would be able to understand the driver side air bay sensor failing with 40,000 miles on it, but not the passenger side air bag sensor which has less miles on it. My mechanic told me that this has been a problem that chevy is aware of and that they have not made any changes to the replacement air bag sensors to correct this defect. The sensor costs over $400. 00 to replace.
Tl- the contact's husband owns a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro a. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at approximately 90 mph, her husband heard the contact heard a loud bang noise when all of a sudden the front passenger and rear drivers and passenger side air bags inadvertently deployed. The contact's husband sustained injury to the four arm, neck pain that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to courtesy Chevrolet san diego located at 750 camino del rio n, san diego, CA 92108 (619) 297-4321 where no diagnostic failure codes were found and the failure could not be replicated. The contact stated that the dealer stated that the vehicle seemed to have hit something however, the contact stated that vehicle did not hit anything. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated to the contact that the air bags performed as necessary. The approximate failure mileage was 123. Lt.
The passenger curtain side and driver side airbags deployed after making a sharp left hand turn out of a turnout upon trying to reenter the roadway. The tires lost traction for a brief moment and the airbags were deployed over my head on both the right and left side of the vehicle. The seatbelt pretensioners also actuated and tightened very hard. The cab was filled with white smoke and my vision was lost momentarily. I was traveling to words the roadway but managed to stop previous to entering the road. There was oncoming traffic and I was also burned and my neck very severely injured due to the nature of the violent explosion right next to my head. My left eardrum is also permanently ruptured due to this event. My vehicle was located on a mountan road in southern California highway 2. Had this happened in a corner on the actual roadway the consiquences may have been much more severe. Again nothing at all was struck during the deployment and nothing has been hit since. I took the car to the dealer that morning they gave me a loaner but still after a week had nit even looked at the car and informed me I would have to pay for the rental. Whe n I was able to get out of bed I returned to the dealer returned the car and took mine back. I contacted lawyer after l lawyer bone of which wanted to help. I was forced to go back to work as I am self employed and have no other means of supporting myself. The problem is still not fixed and my medical issues still persist.

The car was making a turn in inclement weather when it lost traction. In every effort to slow the vehicle, my husband (whom was driving) downshifted to third gear, as the car was sliding into a ditch the clutch stuck to the floor (as it has done before on several occasions and has been mentioned to the local dealership), the brakes went out, the e-brake was pulled in an intense effort to slow the vehicle during the loss of control from impacting an electrical pole. When the first impact was made into the ditch, all 4 curtain airbags deployed. After the second full frontal impact into the electrical pole, the driver's side airbag deployed, however, the passenger side airbag did not even though it had an occupant.

Passenger side air bag sensor in seat is defective, continues to go on and off when someone is sitting in passenger side of car. Or when I have my laptop in the passenger seat. Chevrolet will not acknowledge there is a problem. It appears to be a bad design or defective parts. Car has not been in any accidents that I know of and no kids usually ride in front seat.

My passenger side airbag does not recognize when I have a passenger that meets the weight requirements, I have read several forums of same problems and can't seem to get chevy to realize this is a malfunction and a safety issue, I think that a recall should be made and this should not be owners expense, but my local dealer says it is. This posses a threat to my passengers and could cause malfunction in any of my airbags.
