Windshield Problems of Chevrolet Camaro

The windshield is constantly fogging to the point that it is dangerous to drive. Half of the windshield fogs over because gm states that its designed that way. . . . Which is great if driving with my head out the driver side window. I have sent multiple pictures to gm and they say its normal. It's so ridiculous that the owner of the dealership offered to buy the vehicle back because gm is no help. Gm can not be allowed to dismiss this seroius plroblem. If you cant see out of a windshield, how is anyone suppose to drive a vehicle safely??? I can submit multiple pictures of myself attempting to drive while this is happening.

The windshield in my 2011 Camaro appears to have optical distortion which creates a ghosting effect that is very distracting. In particular, at night when there are headlights, tail-lights, traffic lights, road signs, and etcetera it is especially bad. This is even seen with sunlight reflections during daytime driving. The reason I feel it is optical distortion in the windshield is because if I raise my head to the very top portion of the windshield, the optical distortion goes away. I feel this is indicative of an anomaly/defect in the windshield itself. I had the windshield replaced once with a new factory windshield and I'm still having the same optical distortion issues. I'm currently trying to have the issue resolved. In my opinion, this is indeed a serious safety hazard in which I have never experienced in any other vehicle I've ever driven (which makes it even more strange). It is my hope that this testimony will be helpful to anyone else having similar issues.

While driving there is excessive distortion through front windshield. Items appear larger or smaller than they really are. Consumer stated that road signs are blurry, and it gives him a headache.

The consumer states that there is a distortion on the windshield . Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything. The consumer states that the objects appear larger and smaller when you line your line of sight shifts from the clear areas to the distorted areas. The dealer replaced the glass once with the identical windsheild and now claims that the degree of distortion is normal for Camaros, and sees know reason to improve.

Windshield was replaced by a private company due to crack caused by rock. Replacement windshield however, is defective due to distortion in lower part of windshield. This presents a visual problem at times primarily when turning vehicle. Windshild place which installed it has tried to get me another replacement, but to no avail. At this time it appears all replacement windshields for this model are distorted at the bottom. There was no distortion in the original windshield. Please advise. Thank you, db.
