1 Clutch Broken problem

Failure Date: 02/27/2009

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt coupe. While driving approximately 55 mph, the clutch failed and prevented the vehicle from accelerating into the proper gear. Prior to the failure, the contact noticed that the tachometer fluctuated abnormally. Upon further inspection, he noticed that the clutch was burned out. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and they stated that the failure resulted from normal wear and tear. The clutch was replaced at the cost of $1,600. After the repair, the failure continued. The manufacturer did not assist. The failure mileage was 30,275 and current mileage was 37,800.
