On a 2004 Colorado pu, the hvac blower control has failed twice since end of warranty requiring expensive out of pocket payments. One dealer even explained the problem was related to "overheating a resistor" or some such technical blather. In any case, when the failure occurs the hvac fan only blows high or not at all. A total of over $500 was paid on two failures.

Consumer complained about a defroster problem. When the temperature reached 20 degrees or lower the defroster will not clear the windshield, making visibility very difficult. Consumer contacted the manufacturer, who stated that this was the way vehicle was designed, and there was nothing else they could do.

Driver's side defroster does not operate properly. This causes poor visibility when driving in inclement conditions. Vehicle has been to the dealer, and dealer was unable to correct the problem.
